When is the Best Time to Travel Cheap
One of people's biggest questions is when is the best time to travel cheaply and not pay exorbitant prices. When to travel and make the most of the places while spending little. In this post I tell you everything and the best tips for taking notes, enjoy reading until the end!
So, when is the best time to travel cheap?
And the answer is it depends! Which destination do you want to go to? When can you go?
For example, in the United States and Europe in general, high season, that is, the months that receive the most people are in the summer season, between June and mid-September or so. Therefore, the low season in these places is between January and May and October to December.
Here what you need to take into consideration are the seasons too, these places are usually quite cold, if you are someone who is not a big fan of the cold, you need to choose a middle ground for your visit.
In Brazil, the time that receives the most tourists and Brazilians traveling within the country is the months of December, January, February and July, as they are school holidays and the famous carnival, the other months receive few tourists.
And then, here in Asia the low season varies between June and August, September is also low season but this is when the rains begin. Therefore, it is important to take the weather forecast into consideration when you plan to make your trip.
Travel Planning to go at any time of the year
Here it will largely depend on where you want to go and how willing you are to take a few days off. I always say that with planning you can go anywhere in the world and in any month.
For example, when purchasing tickets, I also told video how to buy cheap tickets through Skyscanner, which months are cheapest to go and return, if applicable. Likewise, if you buy in advance, not make the reservation not 3 months in advance and not 1 month in advance, but between them, always research this period before your trip.
If your holidays coincides with high season, you need to take into account that you will pay a little more in accommodation, travel, food and tickets. As well as the demand for travel is greater during this period.
Traveling in High Season
I'm going to cite an example right here on the island where I am, in Koh Phangan in Thailand, normally from September to November there aren't that many tourists, there aren't that many people. Therefore, the price of gasoline and food is normal, it is cheap for the price they usually charge here.
However, when it is time for the Full Moon Party, which is when more tourists start to come, all prices tend to rise. So, if you plan to go somewhere in high season, yes, it is possible. But be careful and prepared that you will pay a little more.
As well as the attractions you want to go to, I suggest going with more time because you may face queues, due to the high flow of people in the place.
How to avoid crowds in high season
Another tip that I highly recommend is to always go to the places most frequented by locals and not just tourists, because the prices are also different. For example, restaurants, markets and the like.
Just like, if you want to go to a museum or attraction, try to go at times when there aren't many people, like first thing in the morning, for example, as soon as the place opens.
